Small audiences join the performers on the Hardy Center stage seated on cushioned, folding chairs. This creates a close and more informal concert where members can interact with the performers. Guests may also choose our mezzanine seating option.

Dan draws influences for songs and tunes from sources such as French Musette, Gypsy Swing, Cajun, Jug band, Tex-Mex and Cumbia. He calls this global gumbo “ethnoclectic” music.

“Daddy Squeeze,” as Newton is known, is as close to a true minstrel as we have in this area, spreading his squeezable joy wherever he can find an audience.
