We're already lining up performers for 2013-14!

These shows are offered on the stage in the Hardy Center! This creates a close, more informal concert where the audience can interact with the performers. The series offers a variety of styles of music, from folk, to traditional Irish music, and more. Seating is limited to 100 people for each show.

So when you see "On Stage with" before each event below, don't wait, order your tickets now!

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

         

Ticket Information: Purchase tickets using Visa or MasterCard online by clicking the link below each listing, by phone at 763-689-6189, or in person at the Community Education Office at 625 Main Street North in Cambridge. We offer a group ticket discount of $2 per ticket when you purchase ten or more tickets for the same show. Tickets are available online or by phone until noon on the Friday before Saturday shows. Visit the Hardy Center Ticket Window thirty minutes before any show to buy tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Holiday Season crown jewel! Especially designed for families, this seasoned production develops themes of generosity, non-violence, and responsibility through the timeless tale of Clara’s fantastic voyage to the Land of the Sugarplum Fairy with her magical godfather Drosselmeyer.

The Continental Ballet Company Nutcracker has toured throughout Minnesota and returns to Cambridge-Isanti in time for the holidays.

Clearwater Hot Club

Led by Sam Miltich, the Hot Club’s gypsy jazz-meets traditional swing band captivates audiences. Michael Dregni, biographer is quoted, “Clearwater Hot Club is one of the most exciting and joyful of Gypsy bands anywhere.”

Sam, a jazz guitarist born and raised in the woods of northern Minnesota, plays regularly in the Upper Midwest as a soloist and with his bands The Sam Miltich Trio and The Sam Miltich Quartet. In addition to gypsy swing and traditional jazz, his musical interests include Brazilian choro, French musette, Eastern European tamburitza, andmother forms of traditional folk music.

One of Stages Theatre Company’s proudest accomplishments was the creation of the ballet-inspired stage version of THE MITTEN by Jan Brett. For their 30th season, Stages Theatre Company is bringing back this audience favorite. Darren Moose, member of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe located in central Minnesota, has been playing the flute since 1993. Since then he has traveled throughout the United States to different Native American celebrations such as the Gathering of Nations in New Mexico, Schmitzun Celebration and more as a traditional dancer.
