Two years later, Kottke returned with Peculiaroso, which featured production by Rickie Lee Jones. One Guitar No Vocals followed in 1999.

Friday the 13th was a lucky day for the folks who came to hear Lucy in the Performing Arts Center. Bob Hillman was the opening act, and Lucy followed with a wonderful evening of music.

Her live performance was riveting: the nuance, power and texture in her voice are matched by the imagery and emotion of her lyrics and melodies. Her guitar playing was magnificent, surpassed only by her singing. A couple hundred people fell in love with Lucy that night.
