"The Midwest's Premier Bluegrass & Gospel Quintet", Monroe Crossing, performs music of the first-generation masters such as Bill Monroe, The Stanley Brothers, Flatt & Scruggs, the Osborne Brothers and Jimmy Martin, to name but a few. They also "cross" over into more contemporary forms of Bluegrass by writing and performing original compositions as well as arranging Bluegrass covers of contemporary and non-Bluegrass songwriters.

Acclaimed for their tight harmonies and soulful lyrics, Storyhill has performed and recorded their distinctive brand of acoustic music for over 15 years. Natives of Montana and alumni of St. Olaf College in Minnesota Chris Cunningham and John Hermanson released their first recording in 1989 titled "Chris & Johnny". Since then they have gone on to produce 11 cd's, tour the country from coast to coast, while amassing a loyal following and building a mailing list of over 10,000 members. They continue to sell out shows in the West and Midwest.

Anne Heaton

Opening for Storyhill was singer/songwriter Anne Heaton. 
Anne is from New York, and has developed a following of her own. 
She is known for her original lyrics, based on life, beautifully performed.

Returning from a sellout show in October, 2002, Leo brings his incredible talent with a guitar to entertain us once more.  Leo has been playing guitar since the age of 11, and issued his first album in 1969.  



Ladysmith Black Mambazo

A SELLOUT crowd saw one of the world's most popular performing groups, all the way from South Africa to right here in Cambridge, on the stage of the Performing Arts Center! 
The group that became even more famous after Paul Simon's "GRACELAND" album was released, and known as South Africa's greatest ambassadors.  This will be an experience of a lifetime, and it's close to home, in Cambridge!

For over 25 years, the Land of Lakes Choirboys have entertained audiences in the United States and around the world.  They have a superb sound and blend both religious and secular music. Several youth from the Cambridge-Isanti and surrounding communities are in this nationally known group.


Clearwater Hot Club

(Gypsy Jazz Guitar Trio):

This group from Grand Rapids, Minnesota, is best described as playing Gypsy Jazz. It’s a trio of performers led by a guitarist who has been compared to Django Reinhart, the ultimate gypsy guitarist. The talent of Sam Miltich, at age 19, has been featured on Minnesota Public Radio, and they appeared at the State Fair this past fall.

Curtis and Loretta

(Folk Duet):

They are a couple of troubadours -- wandering minstrels who play a variety of instruments and sing beautiful songs, both traditional and original. They were voted best musicians of the Twin Cities in 2002. They have been performing at the Renaissance Festival for many years, and are well known in folk circles throughout the Metro area.
